Processing of Alluvial Deposit Sands with a High Content of Copper and Nickel Using Combined Enrichment Technology

The aim of the present research was to examine process bioleaching and application a combined for recovery copper nickel from industrial sand deposits. investigated sample sands finer than 0.1 mm in size contained 0.32% Ni 0.22% Cu. Industrial were processed by flasks on thermostatically controlled shaker. In addition, roasting experiments carried out with ammonium sulfate. An attempt also made use process, including low-temperature mixed sulfate, water-leaching roasted mixture, subsequent biological after-leaching residue. mixture sulfate at temperature 400 °C, more 70% non-ferrous metals recovered. We examined possibility recovering using additional Acidithiobacillus ferrivorans bacterial strain, which found increase up 90%.
